Why does it always rain on me?

FROM THE TOP: ASOS COLOUR BLOCK RAIN COAT £33.50 // CATH KIDSTON ELGIN DITSY CAG IN A BAG £30 // SEASALT SEAFOLLY JACKET (RED) £70 // TOPSHOP FLORAL LACE PLASTIC MAC £48 // ZARA TRENCH £79.99

What a dreary, dull and damp day - in Somerset it is anyway. The festival goers or generally outdoorsy people need to be prepared for any sort of weather, a couple of days ago we had thunder and lightening...it's nearly June! Anyway, I've scoured the online fashion world and come up trumps with five options for keeping the rain off you while still look unbelievably stylish and chic.

So, let's take it from the top! I had been looking for a yellow raincoat for ages and knew ASOS would be the place to finally have one come in for me...not just for me but you know. I've just ordered this one as it's on offer at the moment (be quick), normally £45 it was down to £33.50, YAY! Not entirely sure why but it also comes in blue and that one isn't marked down, weird but I'm happy, I had my eye on this block yellow one as soon as I saw it in the ASOS magazine and I'm now brimming with photo shoot ideas to show it off. The second is probably the best idea for a festival, a 'cag in the bag' from Cath Kidston in this gorgeous, ditsy floral print is a go to as it'll keep you dry but won't take up a lot of bag space - more room for alcohol, woo!

The red is from Cornwall based company Seasalt, it comes in a heck of a lot more colours including yellow (my fave but two in one post was too much, right?) so check out their website, I love the feel of fashionable fisherman with this coat and even though it's a little pricey you'll look amazing! The next is of course from Topshop - pretty floral design and flimsy enough to not feel like you're even wearing it makes it an easy-to-wear cover up that'll have you stand out from the crowd. Lastly, I had to find a coat from Zara didn't I really? This one is probably not suited for the festival field unless you're a VIP and have you're own little hut with clothes hangers available. I picked it with the idea to wear of an evening or on a weekend walk, nothing too strenuous - even some out of hours drinks as a light cover up would work, the possibilities and looks with all of these is endless really.

Keep up to date with me via
