DRESS ASOS (PURCHASED ON DEPOP) // BAG NEW LOOK // SUNGLASSES ASOS MARKETPLACE // BLACK SANDALS PRIMARK // JACKET VINTAGE LEVI

For goodness sake, I've got the hippy hippy shake. How retro is this dress I found on DEPOP? (once again that little app has got me spending rather than saving). I love the print, the shape and more importantly the length. As a tall gal, I haven't measured but I'd say I'm around 5'10/5'11 aka Giantor, I often find it hard to get dresses, skirts and even trousers that fit me length wise. But this one is just absolutely perfect! It'll be great for festivals and holidays this summer, in the smock shape it means you can eat lots too and not have it show. A dream for me.

I decided to style the whole look very casual, something you could wear out for lunch, to the beach or just walking around town - something I do far too often. I think using my vintage sunglasses - so Lennon - from ASOS Marketplace and small shoulder bag from New Look worked perfectly in this look. The vibrant colour of the sunglasses compliments the colours in the dress perfectly and the bag just brings it bag down a notch so it doesn't get too OTT. Top it all off with my vintage levi denim jacket and Primark sandals and it's just a great casual look for summer. Time to get the pasty, white legs out! Uh oh!

Keep up to date with me via

  3. That is a super cool dress! I love the patterns and all, I wish I had my own <3 Definitely summer ready ;) It's bordering on boho chic, but it's not completely there yet, which is interesting.
