So sorry my August 'Best of the Month' is super, super late, it is now September after all - but actually I think this one is definitely worth the delay. I've been following Olive Cooper London on Instagram for a while now and after falling head over heels for their gorgeous bags I decided they absolutely had to be featured here. Some girls love shoes, some have a weakness for make up - me? It's handbags. I own far too many and pretty much use the same ones all the time, but I just can't help myself, they are the epitome of femininity and that's exactly what this brand connotes.

The whole concept of OC is completely new, fresh and actually very necessary - designed for the typical busy working woman who has the same problem everyday, how does she transition from work to after-work play? The answer's simpler than you may think...make a bag that is large enough for the working hours that then has a detachable smaller bag for the evening. Two bags in one? Yes please! This simple but innovative idea came from Olivia (OC's co-founder) while she was working in busy London, so now women can bring together their business and social life without struggle.

"Being made in Britain symbolises quality and pride, and we are motivated to keep British manufacturing alive in the UK."

The best thing about this brave new brand though? It exudes 'Britishness' - the bags are made in Britain by experienced craftsmen who carefully construct these beauties. They're made from Nubuck Leather, Suede and Wool - if that doesn't scream quality I don't know what does. The images above - how amazing is that bike by the way - are from their Autumn/ Winter 2014 range which is their first collection. Their first collection? I can't wait to see what they do for Spring/ Summer! The bags are gorgeous, structured and perfectly formed and I just love the autumnal colours of this collection. *adds to Christmas list*
