If you don't like Christmas then I wouldn't even bother going any further with this post. For those of you who do - ME TOO! I love the decorations, the smell of a fresh Christmas tree, family frivolity oh and the food and drink is a cheeky bonus. On Monday me, my mother, aunt and cousin all headed just down the road to the enchanting Maunsel House. Normally a wedding venue, for one evening it played host to a spectacular Christmas Fair in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support. Above are just some of the images I was able to take of the event and I hope they give you that same Christmas feeling they give me every time I look at them.

As we entered the enormous grounds we were greeted with a driveway arched by orange and red emblazoned trees and after sneaking into a convenient parking space we get to take in the house itself, which was actually where I had my School prom. *Nostalgia hit* Walking into the giant hallway we are welcomed by volunteers selling us raffles tickets and telling us where everything is. The house is huge so of course refreshments are in order. Red wine purchased, we weave through the tiny rooms and are hit with stall upon stall of crafts, woodworks, christmas decs and my favourite - vintage clothes. There were so many stalls we went around twice and found ones we hadn't seen before, it was a Narnia treasure trove and I was in Heaven. The night was drawing to a close and we had spent far more than expected but it was a lovely evening and for such a great cause, I'm already excited for Christmas 2015.

Keep up to date with me via:
