I just cannot put into words how much I am loving the 70s trend right now - flares, suede, embroidery, fringing, paisley print - you name it, I'm buying it! These flares caught my eye on the ASOS website as they are in the tall section (YAY), I'd seen ASOS' Megan showing off her flares on Instagram but knew they wouldn't suit me as I'm too damn tall, angle bashers much? This is what I love about ASOS - they cater for the tall gall with no waist like me without charging an extortionate amount  for the extra material (some shops do, you know). They're a great fit and hug the figure in all the right places.

After purchasing my flares and falling in love with them immediately (God, this denim is stretchy and soft) I knew I wanted an embroidered top or blouse to go with them to really get that 70s vibe. I wasn't really on the look out for one in Primark but wham bam there it was right in front of me in a variety of colours. I picked the white and blue as it seemed, to me, more Spring like than the black plus I loved the vivid tone to the blue patterns. Teaming this with a little bit of fringing, a floppy hat and some heeled boots so my flares wouldn't drag along behind me (being a giant I'm not used to that) I think this look completely embodies the 70s era - effortlessly cool and comfortable enough to party in.

Bring on the Summer!
