Bourjois Healthy Mix Foundation Boots | Batiste Dry Shampoo ASOS | Garnier Summer Body Boots | Benefit Roller Lash mascara Benefit | Collection 2000 Liquid Eye Liner Superdrug | Barry M Nail Varnishes Barry M | Estee Lauder moisturisers (tester pack)

Summer always sneaks up on me and it's very rare that I'm prepared for it. Normally, I don't use many products on my face and body but recently I've found myself buying a heck of a lot more and my skin is reaping the benefits, let me tell you. This post is all about (as the title suggests) my best beauty buys I'm loving at the moment. From skincare to hair and make up to self tan - I've got you guys covered with a few of my top picks. First up is probably my favourite (look out, I'll end up saying that for everything) and it's the Garnier Summer Body moisturising lotion that is also a gradual tanner - the reason(s) I love it so much? It doesn't streak or have that weird tan smell (what is that?) nor does it make me look like an oompa loompa - it's gradual so less obvious to the naked eye! Next up is something I buy over and over again, the Batiste dry shampoo. This time I went away from the normal cherry scent I buy and opted for tropical instead - it is nearly Summer after all. As I have quite oily hair, even when it's clean it still looks a little greasy so I just spritz a bit of this on my fringe area and I'm ready to go! Skincare-wise I picked up a few testers from Estee Lauder and they have worked wonders on my face, adding some much needed nourishment and moisturiser. I'll definitely be investing in the big pots come payday.

Now on to makeup, being a bit of a makeup novice means I don't really know what I'm talking about most of the time with this hot topic but I do know what works on my face and what doesn't. The Bourjois Healthy Mix Foundation is something that definitely works! I have combination skin, meaning it can be dry one minute and oily the next so this foundation is a perfect balance for both types. A few weeks back this mascara was what every blogger and her mum was talking about and it drove me mad, so I won't go on about Benefit Roller Lash for too long as you'll probably already have read about it somewhere out there. The only thing I will say is it's great if you want to lengthen and define your lashes - the end look really is flawless. Last but not least was something of a surprise for me to actually like as I'm not normally a fan of the Barry M nail varnish range. But the quick drying collection they've just brought out is fantastic! Great for people like me who can't be fussed to wait around for their nails to dry and for the pastel lovers out there. I picked up two colours as it was 2 for £7 at the time and I'll definitely be popping back for some more soon!

Well done if you made it to the end of this avalanche of words and let me know in the comments below what your favourite beauty buy is at the moment - be it skincare or haircare I want to know! See you Friday for a pretty OOTD.

  4. I really want to try that Healthy Mix foundaton. I've been using the serum version, and enjoying it, but it's not as luminous as I'd like for my dry skin. Would love to know your thoughts.
