A monthly favourites post isn't something I automatically have scheduled in every month – I don't always have things/ products to talk about, but the month of May brought with it some sunshine (only some) and so that changed some of the bits I was using. Mainly, the fact I was now able to go bare-legged meant I needed a fake tan STAT so I asked my Beauty Queen friend and she recommended St Moriz. I'd heard of the tan before but because it was so cheap I thought little of it however, it's actually the best tan I've used! I tend to apply in the evening then have a shower which seems to take only a little off and then re-apply after to a) get even coverage and b) a natural looking tan. The second thing I purchased because of the changing weather was John Frieda Frizz Ease – it's getting warmer therefore my hair is getting fried and this is a product I've known and loved for a long time so going back to it was inevitable this year. I spritz all over the my hair after washing, paying close attention to the ends and dry and straighten my hair and my hair is left feeling really soft. Something you've seen me talk about before is my love for Liz Earle cleanse & polish but I'd only ever had the travel size, well I finally succumbed and bought the 100ml bottle and I'm so glad I did. You see a real change to your skin, at the moment I'm having break outs galore so using this twice a day after showering/ bathing is really helping.

Another hair product I've been loving this month is the Lee Stafford hair growth treatment – you use it in between shampooing and conditioning your hair and it leaves it feeling thicker and more nourished, whether it's helping my hair grow or not we shall have to wait and see…I am measuring! Onto a beauty product I've been using almost every day since I bought it – the Soap & Glory supercat eyeliner is something I had always wanted to try but just never got around to purchasing but boy oh boy what an amazing product I've been missing out on! I have finally mastered that bladdy elusive cat eye flick and am 'feline' great with my eye make-up, finally (enjoy the pun there). A flower crown is something every girl should have come Summertime, I'm not going to a festival until September (Bestival, woo!) but when I saw this one in Primark I instantly wanted it, at only £4 it's of such great quality…you'll see more of it in Friday's post so I won't go on too much here. Last but not least, macaroons! I took a trip to London recently to see my three best friends and just couldn't resist buying a pack of eight yummy macaroons. I picked an assortment of flavours to try and am still working my way through them, yes, they're a tad expensive but so so worth it so if you're around Covent Garden definitely have a look in there.

See you Friday for a boho-inspired outfit of the day! You don't want to miss this one…
