I've long been a fan of Chi Chi London so when an opportunity comes up to work with them I'm all over it (thanks very much Chi Chi). This pretty midi dress named 'Marina' from the brand exudes Summer for me, a stunning floral print in this length can sometimes be a little overwhelming for some people to wear, being the tall gal that I am it doesn't bother me at all – if you're of a smaller height you may want to go for something a bit plainer. The brand focus on events rather than every day style so you might feel a bit overdressed if you're just popping to town but off to a wedding or outside event this Summer? Then their clothing (and accessories by the way) are perfect for you!
The dress itself is made incredibly well – I took these photos in my nan's garden and when she felt the fabric she said it was of great quality and when I told her the price she said "That's good isn't it!" Coming from her – she grew up knowing a thing or two about sewing (hey 1950s/60s when they made all their clothes) – I'd say that's a pretty good review! I decided to pair my pretty dress with some killer heels from Primark and the pink from the shoe matches perfectly with the pink in the dress! Win! If you're looking for a well-made, 'stand out from the crowd' sort of dress this Summer, for any sort of occasion then I really recommend this one – the fit and cut is absolutely perfect and you'll feel like a million bucks!
Have you bought anything from Chi Chi recently or have your eye on something then leave me a comment below – I love knowing people's different styles…
