When it comes to skincare I am definitely not an expert (which is how I always start these beauty posts, but it's definitely true), but I know what's been working for me at the moment…and for the past couple of months, actually. Liz Earle daily essentials kit is, yes on the pricey side, but it's also worth every single penny – my mum and I both swear by the Cleanse & Polish so take it in turns to buy it. But, as mum was feeling particularly generous we decided to pick up the Daily Essentials Kit aka. my new Liz Earle hero products! Like I said, we already knew we loved the Cleanse & Polish, but in this set you also get the Instant Boost Skin Tonic, Skin Repair Moisturiser and a bonus gift of the Gentle Face Exfoliator.

The great thing about this set is you can them all at once without getting oily or drying skin, or you can use each one individually or as and when you need it. For instance, I use the Cleanse & Polish both in the morning and the evening every single day to wipe excess makeup off my face that my micellar water has missed and feel refreshed before bed or before I go to work. I then use the Instant Boost Skin Tonic with a cotton face wipe – but if I need a little something more I will go for the Gentle Face Exfoliator. I absolutely love this, you need the smallest amount and you just gently rotate  it with your fingers into your skin paying close attention to avoid the eyes, and move it down to your neck then just wash off with warm water. Super quick and easy, perfect if you're in a rush! The moisturiser is the last part to this routine, and because I have particularly oily/ combination skin I try not to use this as often – when I do use it I scoop up a very small amount on my finger and rub it in to my face and neck.

Do you have a hero product/s? Let me know what it is down below…
