Taking an innocent, nonchalant trip to Primark is a deadly thing – but I didn't pick up as much as I was prepared to, just a few statement pieces to ease me into Spring so let's get on with the haul…
The first thing I spotted was this amazing quilted tribal print jacket in this pretty blue and white colouring, the perfect thing to add to an everyday mundane outfit of t-shirt and jeans. I love it and it's going to see me through to Spring and even Summer, because England always requires you take a jacket with you.

Being top heavy, I'm a sucker for an a line skirt to balance me out a bit, and Primark have done an excellent job with this skirt trend! Faux suede? Khaki green colour? Zip down the middle? Oh and it was only £8! WIN!

This top kind of reminded me of the 60s and 70s sort of trend, it's long length – I've actually styled it just with tights for an upcoming post – but it could also be tucked into jeans, or hanging loose as a long line top. I love the mish mash of stripes going one way then the next as I think it adds a little more interest to it.

Oh look, another striped item of clothing… not like Sam needed this but it happened. I was instantly drawn to the colours of this top and the style is super flattering. A mix of thin and thick stripes and this sort of deep v with zip detailing just screams Spring!

I already own two pinafore dresses, but three's the magic number right? I couldn't resist this dark wash denim dungaree dress when I popped into my local Primark, it goes with pretty much anything I throw on underneath it and looks great with tights and boots while it's still cold but will take me into Spring and even Summer – the perfect all-year-rounder!

Ummmmm so I bought a third striped item in this little haul, but you can never have enough stripes can you? This Jack Wills-esque had me at hello and it's going to be a great staple for me to have in my wardrobe come rain or shine… It's a thin fabric so great on its own in Summer or just as good for layering up in Winter!

  6. I love that v-neck striped blouse. Not only am I loving v-necks right now, but I'm also really drawn towards that mustard tone, which is weird as I always used to hate it! But now I really like those deep autumnal shades. I'm thinking of picking up an A-line skirt, I was a bit hesitant at first because I'm not really into the 70s thing and they're SO huge with the 70s thing, most of the ones I've seen have been sorta suede, but I've got my eye on a black leathery one from Forever 21 which I might get!

    1. Leather is starting to overtake suede on the trend front so you're definitely heading in the right direction! xo
