If you're a fan of all things vintage then (hopefully) you're going to love this post, even if you're not you may still find it just a little bit interesting… A couple of weekends ago I took a tube down to the lovely Bethnal Green to York Hall where The Vintage Kilo Sale was due to take place, I was able to hop to the front of the queue and get in to the sale early (blogger perks!). When you get to the sale you're given a kilo sale bag for you to fill up with lots of vintage goodies, and when I say lots I really mean it! The basis of the sale is that you can get as many items as you want, each kilo that you buy costs a mere £15 - yup, just £15 and they say for that you could get:

Jeans and a jumper // jumper, t-shirts and shorts // dress and a chunky knit cardigan // four light summer dresses // two shirts and a pair of trousers

Sounds pretty good to me! So, once you've picked up all your goodies (you can check the weight throughout your shop using the self weighing machines) you then head up to the weighing stations manned by lots of lovely people and get your clothing weighed and pay for it there and then! It really is that simple and what you get for your money is so so good, and depending on what you pick up you can get all manner of things! So, what did I pick up I hear you cry?! Well, there's a try on haul coming up on Friday so I'll tell you more about the clothing then, but I managed to pick up a pair of jeans, a dress, a blouse, flannel shirt and a pair of dungarees – all for £15! If you're sat there thinking, I want to go, but I don't live in London, Sam! Never fear, it's a touring sale so you can find it popping up in a city near you: Bristol, London, Manchester, Liverpool, Newcastle and Edinburgh to name just a few. Acknowledged by the likes of Elle and ASOS, shoppers can expect high standard and authentic clothing, bringing you lovely vintage that's affordable and always 'worth the weight.'
