Every now and then there's a piece that comes along that people just go absolutely nuts for, this shirt is one of those pieces! My friend Larissa wore it when we went out last summer and I loved it so much I headed out to Zara the next day to pick one up for myself. Then I spotted someone at work wearing it, then my friend also bought it on my recommendation and so the embroidery
obsession trend started...
This shirt has everything you could want or need from a wardrobe staple - the embroidery that is simply everywhere right now, rolled up sleeves and the oversized fit that works perfectly for the hotter months! The only down side to this shirt is that.....it needs ironing, it's in super stiff material that crinkles so so easily but it seems worth it to me and I've been wearing it non-stop since buying it last year. This is the sort of shirt that you can wear knotted at the bottom with jeans or a little denim skirt or, if you're not quite ready to get your pins out why not style it up with a pleased midi skirt. They're still a great piece to have hanging in your wardrobe (I actually have three, and they're all from Primark) and it's a skirt that you can just throw on and make a simple statement. Obviously, it's not quite warm enough to quite say goodbye to your boots just yet so I opted to finish off this look with my favourite pair of Chelsea boots from ASOS.
I hope you all have a lovely bank holiday weekend, see you next week for a little haul and outfit post!
