I realise I've gone a little bit haul crazy recently, but with the weather taking a turn for the better, now seems to be the perfect time to get excited about spring and (eventually) summer! What better place to head to than Primark to pick up a few fab bits ready for the months where going bare legged won't fill you with fear and light-wash denim is your new best friend...

If you haven't noticed I've completely fallen hook, line and sinker for the slip-on shoe trend - basically, if your shoes have backs you're not doing spring properly. These amazing statement shoes are just the ticket to vamp up an otherwise plain outfit, I'm thinking of wearing them with a pair of light denim jeans and a plain baggy jumper for a simple daytime spring look.

Scuba jumpers are THE thing to have in your wardrobe, not just for spring but they're also perfect for the rest of the year as well. Primark has these kind of cropped jumpers in a variety of colours but I just opted for turquoise and white (I've been after a nice white jumper for ages), however these babies are so so soft I'm thinking of heading back there and picking up a couple more.

YAS! It's denim mini skirt season WITHOUT the thick black tights accompanying them! And, while you may be grabbing for that bottle of fake tan until you get your own natural glow, a denim skirt is probably the most flattering piece of clothing you'll ever have in your wardrobe. I really liked the look of this one, the light-wash is great for spring and summer, plus I think this will work really well with the scuba jumpers I picked up until is gets hot enough to go sleeveless.

Every year I'll head to Primark to pick up a new pair (or three) of sunglasses ready for the blindingly sunny months (we can dream right?). I fall in and out of love with sunnies so often that paying more than a couple of pounds for a pair just isn't an option for me. How much do these look like Raybans? They also come in silver so there's a metal for everyone! And, yes I very nearly picked those up too...

I've wanted a long-length top for the longest time and found this one just out of the blue, hanging in the back of a random rail in my size (fate in Primark) just waiting for me to buy it. I love the floral print - that just screams spring, doesn't it - and the deep-v neckline is always super flattering on me. I think I'm going to wear this one with some high-waisted jeans, black boots and a leather jacket for a (hopefully) effortlessly chic look during the day.

Never one to turn down buying a new striped number, this jumper was half price in the random Primark sale they sometimes have going on in stores. I bought this for the sole purpose of trying to stay warm in my freezing cold office on a day-to-day basis but know I'm going to get a lot of wear out of it. I plan to wear it dressed down with jeans and Converse or under a denim dress for a simple layering look.

Everything about this dress completely drew me in - the pretty bow detailing, the midi length and the blue and white pinstripe all had me putting it straight in my basket! I'm going to layer this one up with a simple white T-shirt underneath and either wearing those pink slingback shoes I picked up or dressing it more down with classic Converse.

No spring haul is complete without a little bit of embroidery and I just loved the pretty blossom flower detailing on this boyfriend style pair! These will also look great with the white jumper and pink shoes - can you tell I was thinking of outfits when I was looking around Primark? - and, after breaking them in (always need to break Primark jeans in) they are super comfortable and easy-to-wear.
I hope this haul has brightened up this slightly dreary Tuesday and got you inspired to take a trip to Primark as well - let me know what your favourite piece was in the comments below.
